Cloud Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience to design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure that supports Creuto products and engineering teams. You will work closely with engineering and DevOps to ensure our cloud environment is secure, scalable, cost-efficient, and operationally reliable.

In This Role, You Will

• Design and provision cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP using infrastructure-as-code with Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Manage networking, VPCs, security groups, load balancers, and DNS configurations across environments.
• Design and implement cloud security controls including IAM policies, secrets management, and compliance guardrails.
• Optimise cloud spend through right-sizing, reserved instances, and architectural efficiency improvements.
• Set up and maintain cloud monitoring, alerting, and cost dashboards for engineering and finance teams.
• Support engineering teams with cloud architecture reviews and best practice guidance.
• Manage database infrastructure on RDS, Cloud SQL, or similar managed services.
• Respond to and resolve cloud infrastructure incidents and conduct post-incident reviews.

You Might Thrive in This Role If You

• Have 2 to 5 years of cloud engineering experience with hands-on AWS or GCP infrastructure ownership.
• Are proficient with Terraform or similar IaC tools and treat everything as code.
• Have a strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and cost management.
• Can communicate cloud architecture tradeoffs clearly to engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Are AWS or GCP certified or have equivalent demonstrated expertise.

Bonus If You Have

Experience with multi-cloud architectures spanning AWS and GCP.
Knowledge of FinOps practices and cloud cost optimisation at scale.
Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration on cloud platforms.
Experience supporting ML or AI workloads on cloud infrastructure.
