Technical SEO Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical SEO Specialist with 2 to 4 years of experience to identify and resolve technical issues that limit our organic search performance. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure our websites are optimally structured, fast, and crawlable by search engines.

In This Role, You Will

• Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits covering crawlability, indexability, site speed, Core Web Vitals, and structured data.
• Identify and prioritise technical issues and work with engineering teams to implement fixes.
• Implement and validate structured data markup including schema.org for articles, FAQs, products, and job postings.
• Manage XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, hreflang, and redirect strategies.
• Analyse and improve Core Web Vitals including LCP, FID, and CLS across key landing pages.
• Monitor crawl budgets and ensure search engine bots are efficiently indexing priority content.
• Work with developers to ensure SEO best practices are built into new features and site migrations.
• Track and report on technical SEO health metrics and improvements over time.

You Might Thrive in This Role If You

• Have 2 to 4 years of technical SEO experience with a track record of measurable improvements.
• Are proficient with tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and Lighthouse.
• Have a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript sufficient to understand technical SEO issues.
• Can communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly to both engineering and marketing teams.
• Are detail-oriented and systematic in how you audit, prioritise, and track SEO improvements.

Bonus If You Have

Experience with JavaScript SEO and rendering challenges for React or Next.js sites.
Knowledge of log file analysis for advanced crawl budget optimisation.
Familiarity with international SEO and hreflang implementation.
Experience with SEO during large site migrations or platform transitions.
